2 men discussing design plans

If you are planning a new build or if you are designing a tenant improvement, it is extremely important that you have the plans reviewed by a CASp prior to construction. It is best if we join your team early in the design process so that we can identify accessibility issues that can be easily fixed in the design phase. Unfortunately, clients often become aware of our services after construction has started and a problem has been identified by the contractor or city inspector. Although we can always find solutions, the cost to alter existing elements is always going to cost more than editing architectural plans.

Having your plans checked for ADA and California accessibility compliance before construction starts is the most cost effective way to avoid costly alterations down the road. Our CASp team can review individual elements or entire projects.

Services Beyond Plan Review:

  • Pre-Lease/Pre-Purchase Due Diligence

  • Pre-construction Inspections

  • Progress Inspections During Construction

  • Post Construction Inspections

  • Hourly Consulting

What If My Facility Has Already Been Built?

If your site is already developed, we would recommend having it CASp inspected so that you can develop a barrier removal plan and reduce exposure to potential accessibility related lawsuits. The legal benefits that come with a CASp inspection help to deter serial litigants from targeting your property.
